For cataract surgery and other ophthalmological diseases see the tests that need to be done.
1. Indocyanine angiography (ICG)
For the visualization of the vessels of the choroid and recording of its diseases (choroidal neovascularization, tumors, inflammations, etc.).
2. Digital Fluorescein Angiography
Examination for retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular vein thrombosis, etc.
3. Photodynamic therapy
Treatment for wet macular degeneration
4. Laser Scanning Tomography (LST)
Examination for glaucoma cases
5. A-B Ultrasound
Examination for posterior hemisphere diseases, e.g. macular detachment, tumor, vitreous hemorrhage, etc.
6. Biometrics
Measurement for the intraocular lens in cataract surgery
7. Corneal pachymetry
Examination that measures the thickness of the cornea for LASIK surgeries (myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia). It is a basic examination for checking tonometry in glaucoma.
8. Electrophysiology HEAT-HEAT-PEDIL
Examinations for diseases of the optic nerve and the optic nerve
9. Laser (Argon-Yag)
Laser procedures for diseases of the optic nerve, e.g. diabetic retinopathy, cracks, vein thrombosis
10. Low vision aids
Special examination for vision aids in age-related macular degeneration.
11. Corneal topography
Examination for keratoconus and for laser correction of refractive errors (myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia)
12. Visual fields
Examination for monitoring glaucoma
13. Fundus-anterior hemisphere photography
14. Orthoptic study-exercise
For cases of strabismus
15. OCT (OCULAR COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY)
For diseases of the macula, vitreoretinal plane, pigment epithelium, choroid and glaucoma.
16. PHP (PREFERENCIAL HYPERACUITY PERIMETRY)
For monitoring dry and exudative age-related macular degeneration.
